Posting Blitz, part 1

So I took my macro qualifying exam last month. This was the second time I've taken this qual, with the first one being ... for practice. For those of you who can't read between the lines, that means I failed it.

Abysmally.

So this time, I prepared like a madman. And like any madman, I got help. My help was named Mr. K, and he basically kicked my butt and made me work. In a nice way, to be sure; Mr. K is about the nicest guy you'll ever meet, extremely friendly and good-natured. As my studying went on, it became plain to me that if I passed this qual, it would be entirely due to his help.

Well, I found out on Friday that I passed. So thank you very much, Mr. K.

One qual left ...

Congratulations big guy! And happy birthday. I would like to give you a pair of Birkenstocks and a repaired ukulele. Enjoy!

I didn't know you called your conscience Mr. K.!

This reminds me of our senior year and a paper you did, I believe, on George Washington. I wonder who Mr K. is. Basketball coach for Duke? A masculine form of Special K? Congrats on your passage either way.

So where's the blitz of postings?

This posting blitz is occuring at such a rapid pace that I am unable to keep up with it. By the way, loved the pictures of the pirate party. I hope many Churchill jokes were said.

The "blitz' may be a blotz? Put the Sudoku down, get your class books and papers done and keep everyone posted! Hope your trip to Hillsdale will be enjoyable!
