Let me tell you, I hear that all the time. Go here to find out, it could not only save your life but the lives of those around you...

So right there in the comments to my last post is this:
Hey punk, where is my link ;-P

Isn't that just typical? I'm not exactly sure why she wants a link, given that the only folks who actually read this blog are the GoogleBot and Amy, when she's feeling charitable (and you can all guess how often I make her feel that way).
But really, it's the manners of the thing. You don't just go on to someone else's blog, demanding a link, when what have you done to deserve it? Nothing.*
* Well, okay, there was that one time that she came riding out to rescue me from the Third Circle of Hades where some other big loser -- seen here (in a photo totally stolen and used without anyone's permission whatsoever) with his firstborn son and heir, left me alone and stranded, subject to the ravages of hunger and ill-intentioned men. (Yeah, I don't blame you, kid.)
So there's that. But what have you done for me lately, Sarah?
Still, I'm feeling generous, so I'll toss a link over on the blogroll there to the left just as soon as I can figure out how to make this HTML stuff do my bidding. Everyone (epecially you, GoogleBot), go visit Sarah's site.
Mild frustration getting you down? Itching to vent, but don't have anything to vent about? I have just what you need! This patented treatment is sure to have you ranting and gesticulating wildly all day to anyone who will listen! It worked for me!
I looked at the site she plugs, and I've added something to my wish list: a "Liberal is a GOOD word" t-shirt, size large. That or a "Liberals wage peace" button. How 'bout it, net denizens?

I gotta get me some of this. Kiss those sluggish radio waves goodbye.

This might explain a few things...
So our regular teaching pastor (Pastor David) was on vacation today, so one of our assistant pastors (Pastor Dennis) was preaching, and he started off by saying that when he "pinch-hits" for Pastor David, he always feels like he "only gets one swing at the ball".
Does the fact that I desperately wanted to call out "hey batter batter batter SWING batter batter" make me a bad person?
It appears that this blog (as with all of the PRWdot blogs) has an Atom feed and an RSS feed, which means I'm way more tech-savvy than even I thought I was.
Just so you know.
... I guess I should point out that just because I haven't updated since ... wow, January ... doesn't mean I've given up on this blog. (I love how I titled that last post "Watch this space" ... suckers.)
I am actually working on constructing a new design for the blog, and will be putting that up as soon as I get it done (which could be a while, given my very scary qual schedule and numerous outstanding overdue projects).
I'm also thinking of to put together a handy FAQ for who I am, and why I've got a blog, etc. I hadn't originally been planning to put one together, but the overwhelming imagined reader interest has left me no choice. Besides, it's not like I ever pass up a chance to write self-aggrandizing exaggerations about myself.
As for actually posting, well, we shall see.
Here at Infernal Monologue Industries, we like to think of ourselves as being diversity-friendly when it comes to operating systems, even ones we actively try to avoid using. (Apparently we also like to think of ourselves in the plural.) So when I saw this, I figured my Apple-philiac friends might enjoy it (if, that is, they ever read my blog, which they don't).
I'm actually surprised that Peter and Will haven't already covered this ground. I haven't actually checked whether they have or not, but I assume they haven't. Boy, has my life gotten easier since I started doing that.
