Every serious computer gamer is familiar with, if not an expert on the fantastic game by Sierra, Half-Life 2.* Every computer gamer likewise is similarly experienced with one of the game's nastier features, the dreaded sentry gun.
Tripod-mounted and motion-triggered, these bad boys were carnage-on-a-stick, death ex machina. Nasty, nasty things. But you could always take comfort in the fact that you could always switch off the game and not have to worry about encountering them here in meatspace.
