So I took my macro qualifying exam last month. This was the second time I've taken this qual, with the first one being ... for practice. For those of you who can't read between the lines, that means I failed it.
Abysmally.
So this time, I prepared like a madman. And like any madman, I got help. My help was named Mr. K, and he basically kicked my butt and made me work. In a nice way, to be sure; Mr. K is about the nicest guy you'll ever meet, extremely friendly and good-natured. As my studying went on, it became plain to me that if I passed this qual, it would be entirely due to his help.
Well, I found out on Friday that I passed. So thank you very much, Mr. K.
One qual left ...
So it's been a while since I've posted, but that's because of being, during that stretch of time, either a) really busy and stressed out, b) really sick, or c) both. The "really busy" part of that means that I have some news, the first bit of that being that I have various little bits of news to report to all of you who read this blog (which, as I've said before, amounts to Amy and the GoogleBot).
